Hi guys, I'm Andy Marmion, a psychiatric nurse with 30+ years of experience, though some would say I'm more of a psychiatric case!
I live in the West of Ireland in a little village called Knock. It's in County Mayo - God's country, or so the locals say.
But I'm not actually Irish. I hail from Glasgow, Scotland's largest city.
So why am I here, never mind you?
Well, I've written poetry on and off over the years. But now I've decided to learn the craft, sweat on my brow and my finger joints aching.
In other words - I'm all in.
I've decided to write inspirational and spiritual poetry. That's what comes more naturally to me. They may not be overtly Christian (or they might be every so often).
But may they offer you comfort and encouragement, make you smile, and warm your heart with hope.
